The Rocky Mountain Information Network (RMIN) is
putting on this class. There is no charge for this class. It is
limited to 25 students. The instructor is Sam Uptegrove who is
employed as a Surveillance Equipment Technician for RMIN.
This is a basic course in the use of technical surveillance
equipment. Topics to be covered but not limited to will include
selection and use of
-
audio and video recording equipment,
-
wireless audio and video surveillance
equipment,
-
“Pole cans”,
-
vehicle tracking systems,
-
basic trouble shooting,
-
counter measures used against police officers
and legal issues.
The course will have lectures, demonstrations, and
hands on use of surveillance equipment.
Each agency will need to bring their surveillance equipment. Anyone
